Chaffles has taken the internet by storm here in the summer or 2019. No one knows where it originated but chaffles are basically 1 egg whisked with 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. This yielded about mini waffles. The rest is entirely up to your creativity. I added 1 tsp Roa’s Pizza Sauce into my batter along with siced pepperoni bits.

The results was delicious! The waffle will be softer and fluffier if you add more batter to the waffle iron. The waffles will be thinner and crisper with less batter.

Let the chaffles rest on a cooling rack for 5 minute to stabilize in texture and crispen up.
